On arrival we found the towels completed covered in bugs, we then saw bugs on our bed sheets and other areas of the room, bugs had gotten into our backpack. We texted the manager Miguel at 7:30 who said he would come right away, he arrived at 8:30 and told us the room had been fumigated prior to our arrival but he would do a deep clean and fumigation right now. We were then asked to take our bags and sit in the outdoor seating area. Miguel told us he would move us to the Bounty Beach Club in the am but we would have to stay in that room overnight due to no availability at the Beach club, he promised us a meal and unlimited drinks while staying in the Beach club. Cleaning and fumigation took a couple hours and we didn’t get back into our room until 11:15pm. When bringing us back to our room Miguel then said we’d have to stay in that room for the remainder of our trip due to no availability at the beach club but promised us we could have all of our food and beverages comped, he told us he would speak to the manager of the Beach club and have everything sorted for us to spend the day there. They fumigated the room again the next day. Manager on duty at the beach club informed us that Miguel had made promises to appease us in the moment that they could not afford due to it being a new business, they informed us they could only comp 1 food and 1 drink each which was not what was promised. Multiple promises were made to try to appease us that they later refused to accommodate.
