The rooms are run down and have a lot of broken components such as towel bars and toilet seats. These are easy cheap fixes, and basics for a hotel room.

Overall, the property was nice for the price point. I wish the curtains were not semi sheer, made dressing and sleeping difficult with the outside lights on. The larger bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked, but the other bed in my room was better.

The property is away from most of the noise and has super nice grounds. The staff was also very nice. If you're wanting a nice place to relax and get away from it all but be within walking distance to food and other activities, then I recommend staying here.

This is a wonderfully priced hotel with pool, beachfront, AC, although don’t know why I felt the need put that. Anyway, Great spot to get away for diving and fun. Caye Caulker is a must! San Pedro not for me, went over and came back a hour later. This is a very safe and friendly hotel. I include for single travelers girls and fellows if you ask someone at the hotel to come grab ya they, any questions, and any problems. Officially longest review 46 year old out.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Tropical Paradise. The location was perfect. Close enough to walk everywhere but at the quiet end of front street. The property had a great pool with a swim up bar, a pier to sit out on, a restaurant and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and well maintained. The cabanas while a little rustic on the inside were bright, colorful and clean. I would recommend staying here to anyone and hope to be back myself.

A well staffed, charming place. Leroy & Steve in particular are excellent...Boat trips/tours of the wonders in the water are fantastic! A nice pool overlooking the ocean. A beautiful dock to swim off of in the ocean. All the great things on the island are within walking distance. Great place to chill for all ages.

Staff were very welcoming and very accommodating. The property has security at night ... pool is nice but cold lol 2 second walk to the ocean... food at the restaurant on-site is very good ... I would stay there again.

If I hadn't booked through Expedia they would have charged $104, with expedia it was $79. But it was a wood box only big enough for the 2 wood platform beds and table. Like a dorm room or hostel, no tv but wires hanging loose from the wall. At least there was Aircon and towels but that's all.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the property is really run down. The tv didn’t work, the safe didn’t work, the pool was closed 2 days, the restaurant was closed 3 days, the wifi went out twice, and maid service was very late if at all.

The staff was helpful and always working to keep the property clean. The bed was rock hard. You pay for what you get. The room was large and furnishings and linen was basic. It was nice to cool down in the pool. I highly recommend renting a bike to access the island.

Checkin was disappointing, I am visiting from Las Vegas, I guess being spoiled by checking in at 11am, compared to checking in at 2 and after 330 pm, well need I say anymore. And what bothered me the most was because my child is disabled and couldn't get her in a room to even change her diapers. And took a bath with my floor towels as there were no towels available. Truly Disappointed.

It was at one end of Caye Caulker so always easy to find. I didn't like that they don't collaborate on tours like almost every other property on the island. Food was excellent though

Great for the price
Will I stay here again, most likely. But the staff wasn't very accomodating. The pool guys, pool bartender and housekeepers were great but the one that worked first shift desk wasn't very pleasant. The older one that worked desk was very good. It rained while we were there and water covered our floor from the door and during the night I noticed water was dripping from the ceiling right on the bed. This is a no frills hotel and thats fine but dont be stingy with the bare necessities like cups, tissue and soap. The hotel is good for the money and close to everything. You can enter the ocean from the hotel property but trust me you will not want to it stinks and lots of seaweed, not the hotels fault. But a 8-10 minute walk straight to the split and the water is clear and clean at the public beach. Take plenty of mosquito repellant because they are fierce. But overall I was impressed with the property for the price.
