"Since the hotel thrive for 5 stars and requested us to bring up anything to help improve, I’ll be detailed.
Cleaning was overall good and made the stay comfortable. However, in the morning there was a cute little dog that pooped around and we almost stepped in it. The top of the fridge was cleaned where the housekeeper was able to access but we could see where they could not. There were some marks on the bathroom door that can be removed with a “magic sponge” and make it better.
We booked a room for 4, could fit 6 people to sleep, which was spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. However, there were too little to no kitchen essentials (plates, ustensiles, cups, etc.) in the room, probably more in the common kitchen tho. There were no hooks to hang the towels anywhere. The bathroom had an empty and unused space where shelves and/or hooks could be installed and be perfect for storage during the stay.
The free laundromat was appreciated. But be advised that there is only one washing machine and dryer.
We enjoyed one of the common space outside for breakfast in the morning which was really cool, as we also enjoyed beautiful views. There are bbqs ect available for whoever wants to.
We only stayed one night, so we did not get to enjoy the game room or the outside a bit more. But it was cool to know it’s something that can be enjoyed and is available.
Staff was welcoming and helpful.
Honestly we would come back with no hesitation though!"
"Clean rooms, breakfast was ok. Close to the entrance of Sequoia National park. Also close to restaurants to have lunch/dinner.
Recommended for people going to the park for the first time."
"Super fun place, the location and the views are so worth it. Though I really wish they had some form of breakfast offered. It was nice that they had a rollaway... though the blanket with it had cigarette holes. Doors weren't properly sealed, so I'm sure any noise goes out (you could see a bit of the ceiling in the rooms from the hall). No microwaves in rooms but there is one in the lobby. "
"I stayed at Mt Williamson on a business trip. It is early in the season so the place is not humming in its operation. The room is rustic but functional. There isn't much amenities to speak about. What bother me to most is the poor sound insolation. My unit is close to the main road and at night when big trucks and speeding motorists speed by, the noise penetrates the room and it would be difficult to sleep if you are a light sleeper. Check in and check in hours are limited and much of the information about the motel and surrounding areas are self-help. I will probably not going to stay at Mt Williamson in the future given there are other options that I will try to test out."
"The property manager, Andrea, was wonderful! She was very helpful and responded quickly to all emails. We stayed in the guest suite, which was such a nice respite after staying in hotels. We were able to cook, do laundry, and even had movies to watch. Very accessible to Sequoia and Kings Canyon parks. Would stay here again!"
"Self check in with keypad made the stay amazing! The room was clean and cozy. There was a little gift basket with snack, drinks, and ear plugs. The motel is right off the hwy and you can hear the big rigs down shift as they come into town. Great stay and would stay again! "
