"No dead bolt on door or on door to the adjacent room. Room was as clean as expected. This is more of a motel than an inn or suite. Overall, property and rooms could use updating but price was suitable for what we got."

"A/C will not go below 69 degrees, brought a fan to cool down the room. TV was not working correctly. Bar food was horrible. Gravel valet parking lot, $65 to park. Hotel room wasn’t too clean. Underwhelming experience, wouldn’t go back. Staff extremely friendly and nice."

"To be fair, the staff was respectful and attentive despite the property’s many challenges. The building and room entry systems were frequently dysfunctional, and, strangely, my room didn’t even have a headboard. The most serious issue, however, was the pervasive mildew or mold odor. Overall, I was profoundly disappointed with the facility."

"Wonderful stay at sand pebble , very convenient location to the beach and boardwalk. Staff was nice. Only complaint would be our fridge didn’t seem to be working the first day we were there and we were unaware so we lost some of our food but I played around with it and by day two it seemed to be ok. All around would definitely stay again."

"The layout of the hotel is very inconvenient. There are no elevators to the rooms you have to take stairs. And it is an inside corridor hotel. It makes no sense."

"I enjoyed the historical feel of the property, the hotel was very clean, quiet at night, we had a good night sleep! The window air conditioners worked great, it was 100 degrees and the rooms were cool and comfortable. The continental breakfast was convenient. We loved the coffee, fresh fruit and yogurt in addition to the bakery items! Also, a less than 30 min drive to the Jersey Shore! Definitely would stay here again!"
