"AC wasn’t working in the gym and was very hot. Pool ms and hot tub were great. Staff was very professional and on top of everything. Bathrooms could have been bigger and queen beds weren’t a true queen size."

"This is an old boutique hotel. Had to ask for a bellman, ice and our car from the valet several times before they responded. The breakfast burrito from room service was good. Maid service was good. The pool is just ok. The rooms are very noisy. Couldn’t sleep because of road noise, light in the room, frig running and could hear the neighbors in there room, opening there door and walking up and down the stairs. No elevators. The bed was comfortable."

"Technically the room was clean. Staff was kind of rude. Front staff at check in started off rude and quickly tried to change her attitude after I identified myself as a travel agent. However, everyone but the maintenance guy was rude and seemed to hate this job. We had maintenance because the TV didn't work. The shower couldn't regulate between hot or cold but continuously flipped between one extreme or the other. The linoleum floor wasn't even attached in the bathroom and you could see where...

"I made my reservation through Expedia clicking pet Friendly, so when I checked out my bill for having a pet in our room was 100.00 per night plus a 25.00 cleaning fee. that's the only thing I didn't like I thought it was way tooo expensive fort taking your fur animal with you and you also have to pay 18.00 per night to park your car at a hotel you reserved to stay. For the pet and the parking was an extra 311.00"

"The hotel was okay overall, but the pool experience was disappointing. The pool wasn't very clean or well maintained, and it closed much earlier than expected each day. The water slide was also only open for a very limited time—it opened late in the day and closed early, making it difficult for families to enjoy it. If the pool and slide are important to your stay, you may want to consider this before booking."

"The walls were too thin, so I could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, which was very noisy. Also, the toilet flushing sound was too loud and disturbing."

"Pros: Fantastic location. Walking distance to the south end of the Torrey pines hike, 10 minutes to La Jolla shores, or Torrey pines. Right near the freeway for ease of access around SD. And walking distance to the club house. Great friendly staff all around. Cons: Bed was a little hard/springy for my liking and it was a little loud in the hotel in the hallways but to tremendously so. Jacuzzis were a little small if that's a dealbreaker."
