"This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. "We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. "The hotel is a completely renovated farm house. We were accommodated in a spacious room with partially exposed stone walls and wooden beams which provided an old world feel with all the comforts of a modern home. This is a newly opened family owned hotel that has done a wonderful job with obvious pride. Secure parking is certainly a bonus as is their very friendly dog Jack. My wife and I highly recommend the stay. "
