"No micro. Carpet room very clean and very large. Quiet. Breakfast ok, pancakes didn't work, but plenty of other..eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, 4 juices, water, muffins. Enuf to start your day. 3rd time here, no elevator so ask for 1st floor if an issue. Italian rest next door is great."
"A nightmare hotel.
Travelled all over the country and this was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at, outside of Jackson Mississippi.
The hotel is old and run down, none of it is renovated (like what is shown in the photos).
When I arrived with family we were told 1 of our room reservations was cancelled.
the front desk made up some strange excuse that they process peoples cards at 1pm (before check in) EVEN IF they chose to “pay at the property”.
I have never heard of this before at any other hotel across the country. They said it was owner policy
The doors barely close you have to slam them and jiggle the handle to make sure it’s locked.
When I brought this to the attention of the front desk staff, they got aggressive and told me I needed to make sure I jiggle the handle.
hello, this is a hotel?
and there’s a huge gap under neath the door so you can hear everything going on in the hallway.
Maids are banging around vacuuming from 10am-3pm because there was only 1 maid per floor.
I’ve seen hotels that have 2-3 girls cleaning one room at a time and they get it done quickly.
Last but not least, there was a used wash rag in my shower from the previous guest. And the door to the outside (back door) was not latching properly.
We also told the front desk about that too and they were dismissive and the door was still open and unsecure when we left.
We are actively pursing some type of reimbursement from La Quinta corporate and I reported this place to the BBB. "
"Unfortunately the experience was not great. The biggest problem was the AC and lack of ventilation in the rooms and bathrooms. The air in the hallways and the rooms was so heavy with moisture that we were clammy and uncomfortable the whole time. Stale wet air is not ok! The AC unit was mediocre at best and did not dry out the room even though we had it on 67. The beds were extremely hard and had no cushioning, the pillows were flat. The room clean enough but that's all I can say for it."
"The property is an older hotel but has tons of capacity. We were part of a group that had 30 people and we were spread out all over the multi building property. The room floor was all tile, which is ideal because the hotel allows pets. My room had a tub/shower combo. Each room had a backdoor leading to a patio or balcony for upstairs rooms. The king size room was spacious, had a desk, a sitting chair, ample closet space and a decent sized tv. The sheets were clean, and the bed was comfortable. While the rooms haven't been updated in a few years, the lobby was spectacular. It is an old log cabin feel with mounts and a full sized bear on display. There is nice sitting areas and water and coffee was available. It had several meeting rooms and full sized restaurant. The breakfast was good. The bar at the hotel was easily the best part. Full menu of drinks and pool table and live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Both bands I saw were very good. There was a good sized pool and hot tub. Overall, the stay was nice and would stay again in the future."
"Poorly staffed restaurant; they were good though. The room and the building of the room was horrific and in dire need of maintenance and updating. I feel ripped off. The property has much potential, but the rooms *8 of us traveled here* were in poor condition. The footprint/floorplan is excellent but needs major repairs and renovation. My door stuck "
