"The pool pictures on the website are completely misleading. The pool had very poor maintenance, and the jacuzzi was in the same condition. There were peeling walls, rusty air vents, and the whole area felt dirty and poorly maintained. In addition, the room heating system kept turning on automatically, which was very uncomfortable during our stay. We honestly expected much more from this hotel."

"The corridor was very noisy. We could hear a party in another room on the same floor and we could hear everyone at the pool which was four floors below (even with the window closed). The night front desk staff said they could not check me out as they would have to run a night audit and to check out in the morning, while the morning guy did it in a minute. "We found The Tommie to be a great experience as it is part of the same building as The Thompson hotel so you get the same amenities and service. Some people have said The Tommie has smaller rooms but we did not find that to be an issue as they were very nicely styled and adequate in size for us as a couple. The location is right in the heart of all the action so you don’t really need a car. Would definitely stay again."

"The front desk staff was incredibly nice, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel itself was very clean, and our room was perfect comfortable, spotless, and well maintained. The cleaning staff was also amazing and did a great job making sure everything stayed fresh and tidy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay again!"

"The hotel is new, clean, funky, and right across the street from UT. The staff were great too. Only downsides are that the rooms are small and the only parking option is valet, which is expensive. Hotels should provide free parking to their paying guests, not charge them an exrtra $50 on top of the room rate. Not cool."
