The town of Jajce is situated at the confluence of the Pliva and Vrbas rivers. This naturally occurring waterfall is one of the towns most notable landmarks, in addition to the fortress and numerous museums.

There is a viewing platform for the waterfall (entrance fee 4 marks), although the best view is from the opposite bank of the Vrbas river. There is a path, but not easy to find!
