"The a/c controls were broke, with the room on arrival extremely cold. The a/c unit was very loud. When requesting a different room so we would not get sick from the cold , we were told it was okay to unplug the unit. She would have maintence check it out tomorrow, which was absolutely no help for us. It was freezing until early morning. At 9:30 on Saturday morning the coffee was all gone, the regular waffle mix was out. There was chocolate mix if you wanted that. Also hot water was out so no tea either. There was two apples in the fruit bowl. There WAS COLD cereal and milk. "

"The absolute worst “hotel” ever. Do not stay here. Holes in wall, outlet covers missing, completely run down junky place. Not worth the one star rating."

"The room itself was satisfactory and the price was decent. The staff was very friendly and the complementary breakfast was good. Unfortunately, our room smelled consistently of cigarette smoke and/or marijuana. We knew we weren’t going to be in the room much during the day, so we purchased multiple fragranced plug ins to help with the smell. It seemed to come from the bathroom, the smell would be more heavy at times than others. We did discover that the last day we had the room housekeeping did not come in and when we returned at the end of that day we really didn’t smell anything other than our wall plug ins."

"We left a pair of slippers there and they want to charge a fee of $20.00 plus shipping you don't mind the shipping but another fee, we will never stay at any of your properties again"

"I did not like the fact that they do not provide any drinking cups in the rooms. You have to go to the office lobby, which in our case was quite a walk since the hotel is quite spread out. Also microwaves are not provided in the rooms. Another walk to the Lobby to use a "community microwave". But the rooms do have little refrigerators. They told me at the office that "Spark" hotels are Hilton's version of a basic hotel. I wondered since this is a basic hotel why it's not priced in the $75.00 range like a Motel 6. Why not have these deficiencies more clearly stated in the advertising. I was disappointed. "

"the elevator wasn't working during our stay, so it was difficult for me and my mom going up and down the stairs due to her handicap, I was asked to leave my email for a discount I have yet to receive but other than that the stay was comfortable."

"We enjoyed our stay! The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The staff was especially kind and helpful. They were doing maintenence on the door locks but the process was so smooth and seamless. The staff explained everything perfectly. Definitely will return on my next visit to the area. "
