The air conditioning broke down for an entire night, and it was a real nightmare because we couldn't sleep. I strongly disagree with the way these rooms are presented, especially considering the very high price they charge."

"I will dream about this hotel and the two nights we stayed in this former palace. The restorations that maintain the original character and the culture are just stunning. I felt like I was walking through the 1870 duke's palace- but with all the thoughtfulness of today. The pool and pool deck - as you see in the photos- are incredible. The location is a short 2-3 minute walk to the shops, restaurants and beach. We can easily see why so many people are moving to Portugal. We will be back - to...
