"liked: cheerful and helpful staff. easy parking. nice amount of counter space in the bathroom. bathroom has a fan. good fridge with separate freeze. fitness center was clean and well equipped though not the most pro brand of equipment. not like: china lake blvd is very loud and its right outside your window. bring some kind relief for your ears. no filtered water in the fitness center."

"The room was clean but the shower ( bathtub) was dangerous thing to step up into. It had poor water pressure so the shower did not come on all the way. Staff was okay but not helpful if you were not tipping them. We left a day early and the front desk said we need to talk with Expedia for a refund of those funds. But with how they are handling our car rental I don’t think we will get our money back. Feeling let down by the third party business companies. Disappointed for sure."

"Typisch Amerikaans motel. Van buiten niet echt aantrekkelijk, maar binnen alles prima. Mooie nette redelijk moderne kamer met grote bedden. Goede badkamer met alle voorzieningen. Prima ontbijt te gebruiken in kleine ontbijtruimte bij receptie. Minpunten: rumoerige airco en zeer gehorige kamers."

"Great stay at Southgate which was a close drive to Yosemite and Mariposa parks. Breakfast was good and the hotel was clean with really friendly staff. Thanks for having us!"

"A great place to stay with no frills accommodations—just a comfortable bed, hot shower, and WiFi. Compared to camping in one of the nearby campgrounds, this is a luxury! Stayed here for my Mt Whitney day hike. I booked a two-night stay so that I could shower and have a bed after my hike. Money well spent!!! There is onsite laundry (which I didn’t use), and it is very close to all of Lone Pine’s restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again."

"Had a one bedroom Studio, kitchen really well equipped has got everything you need. No restaurant on site. Supermarkets close and restaurants. Under ground carpark is nice and easy access to rooms and lobby. 500 DVDs to choose from at reception and DVD players in room"

"The staff was friendly. The room was okay…the carpet had a lot of stains on it and so did the couch. When we went down for breakfast, there were 4 rotting apples just sitting on the counter in front of everyone which was kind of off putting. If they could put out rotting apples and not even notice, it made us wonder about the other food. We did not do the breakfast for our next morning there. There were also quite a bit of dead bugs in the pool that we were constantly swooshing aside to avoid...
