"We had issues with our reservation which were not the hotel's fault. Staff was patient and helpful in getting the issues worked out. Five stars seems like not enough for the help they gave when we got there. They had a parking spot for Veterans, the pillows were perfect, the towels were thick, the water pressure and shower head was refreshing, and staff was quick to respond. "I travel to Alexandria frequently for work & stay at the Motel 6-Studio 6 on McArthur Drive. Rooms are spacious, clean & sanitized. "Clean room, A/c running before we get there so nice and cool. This is located near everything you need in town and owners/staff want you to feel welcomed so they work hard at it. This is an older property, but you can really tell the owners are making great efforts to keep it up and safe. I would definitely recommend, especially if you are trying to avoid the expense and mayhem at the casino hotel nearby, this place is either way easier and way more friendly."
