"This is a great basic hotel in a fantastic location. My room was clean and had a great ocean view. What it lacked were some updated items like there are no electronic charging/usb ports and almost no outlets for plugs. I will definitely stay here again but will better prepare for my charging needs."
"Beachfront view was Beautiful. The Resturant Bartender made me a very delicious marionberry lemon drop it was very tasty but a bit pricey. Very friendly atmosphere. "
Elizabeth Oceanfront Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful view from our 4th floor Oceanside room. Fell asleep to the sound of crashing waves through the screen door. Hot tub was a welcome respite after a long day, and grateful the hotel was next door to a few restaurants for an evening stroll. Breakfast is very limited (prepackaged bagels/pastry/cereal) but we supplemented with one of the free cookies handed out at checkout night before. "
"Beds didn’t provide enough warmth/blankets
1/2 the plugs in the room didn’t work
No bath mat
Unit was dusty and smelled musty
Carpeting was old and tired"
"The desk clerk (Male) should not be in hospitality. The most unprofessional clerk I've had to contend with. He showed up, finally after 40 mins after check in (looked really stoned) or at least on something. There is a line outside waiting for check in. He turns up looking confused and unlocks the door. We go in and are standing around. Clerk decides to be very curt and tells a couple of us to go around the corner out of his sight as he has anxiety. I tell the fellow i went to the side with "Well thats good customer service". So I immediately get singled out and was threatened to be canceled. Now, my wife and I just drove 600 miles. She is waiting in the car for me. It's warming up and this Joke puts me too the back of the line to show his flex. He didn't even know i told everyone to go ahead of me and apologized to them. Mentioned in the one on one with him, he was military with ptsd. There is more to this story but, I'll wrap it up. At this point I was starting to get a little concerned with his threatening manner. Obviously mental. I will not be back and encourage others to not."
