"The best thing about this property is that it is family owned, and all family members are extremely friendly and helpful. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable in the space. The brother runs a music school next door (with super cute little kids taking lessons), the sister owns the restaurant, and the mother helps out with breakfast in the morning. "Such an incredible stay at Flor de Bromelia! It's a family run hotel and everyone was super helpful and attentive. Breakfast was different each day and the views are amazing, and we even saw monkeys in the trees and round our cabin. It's 10 minutes to walk downhill to town and really easy to get a cheap taxi back. Nothing bad to say about this hotel, it was a wonderful stay and we'd love to return! "

"Honestly this place was great. I saw birds roght out my patio window and looked out to the mountains. It was a great value and the owner and his family were very friendly and welcoming. Take the short hike to the top of the property and enjoy an amazing view. This was such a cool place to stay. The room was extremely comfortable."
