"The overall property is very beautiful, located in a forest setting. The open air restaurant with its observation deck is a great place for birdwatching since there are feeders at the edge of the deck and the staff puts out fruit and seeds early when the birds are active. The staff is wonderful, very helpful and friendly! And the location is very near the river tours and Carara National Park.

"The rooms were moldy, and out dated. We had to switch rooms twice because of the mold in one room was unbearable especially since out children are asthmatic. The next room's AC didn't cool as much. The bathrooms had hard water everywhere. My room got cleaned probably one time since I've been there and I stayed 10 days with my family. There was limit english speakers or translators. "We had a great stay at Tango Mar. The owner always greeted us each day to see how we were or how our day was. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! I took advantage of the spa and had an incredible massage. Gorgeous views of the ocean right out your window and the multiple pools to cool off in with the heat. Swimming beaches were a short drive away if you wanted to swim in the ocean."
