"Zenith Basecamp is a unique accommodation and a model that I hope catches on. On site, they refer to it as a glamping hostel. The space is impeccable, set up in a newly renovated historic office building. There’s no frills (bring your own shampoo, soap, and towel), but what’s there is great. You get your own room, with shared individual bathrooms and a kitchenette available for guest use. We also enjoyed the cocktail bar on site!"

If you are an AT hiker looking for a place to sleep close to the trail, in the dry, this is a good option. The bed was clean, had a refrigerator and ceiling fan, but no coffee pot. The bathroom and shower are communal so be aware there is not a bathroom in each “cabin,” nor can you lock your door from the inside. Thus “resort” is misleading. I am not sure why they chose to include “resort” in naming this place. It is very clearly a nice rustic campground with four hostel...

"When I arrived there was no one there--staff or travelers. It's in a slightly creepy part of town. I couldn't figure out how to open the gate for parking, then realized from staff email to me that the clicker to the parking gate was on my bed and I'd find it once I got to my room. But since no one was there when I entered, it just felt creepy and unsafe. So I booked another hotel and didn't sleep at the Wanderstay.
