"The staff are wonderful. I wish check in hours weren’t so limited - we arrived earlier than expected and wanted to drop off our bags, but had to wait around in the car a long time (since we didn’t want to leave our luggage unattended) until the check in hour that begins at 5p, since the doors are locked and no one answered the door until then. Also wish that they had AC- it was pretty hot during our stay."

The property is a meticulously maintained 17th century royal estate, with horses and llamas and owls and giant sequoia trees and beaucoup French country charm! Every morning we were greeted with fresh bread from an award winning bakery, an assortment of homemade jams, hot coffee, orange juice, perfectly ripe fruit and a variety of French cheeses. "This is an absolutely wonderful property located outside the busy town center of Bourges but within walking distance.
