"We loved our stay at Casanova in the superior room. The location is perfect, an easy drive into Braga and also a great launching point for Geres. No worries about parking at Casanova; free, secured and flat parking lot. Owner Anna will tell you exactly where to park in Braga. "This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. "Hotel is in the heart of Braga and was in very close diatance of all activities. We had little hard time to find a parking but after 7pm there were lots of street parkings. Breakfast was ordered a night before and was ready and served on the time we choose. we enjoyed thoroughly. Room was clean and my daughter stayed upstair room with her own bathroom. Thank you!"

"The staff and hotel was wonderful, clean , perfect location. Our room was the top floor with the slanted ceiling and we didn’t like that because you can hit your head and it made the room very tiny so we would not choose this room again but would return to the hotel!"

"Wonderful hotel. One of the best I’ve stayed in, in Europe. Think I got an upgrade, stayed on 11th floor, room was massive with stand alone bath, and seperate shower. Mini bar, coffee machine, kettle, complimentary water, and apples in the hall. Only had breakfast one day as had to leave early on second morning, due to Storm Ingrid. But breakfast was great, buffet with huge selection of hot & cold items. Definitely a 5 star hotel"
