"We appreciated them holding our luggage prior to check in and after check out. The staff is very friendly and gracious. The breakfast "spread" was superb. Glad breakfast started at 5am since we had early morning tickets to Machu Picucha. We had 3 rooms. The room on first floor was updated and clean. No tub just an easy into the shower in that room. The other 2 rooms were difficult showers to get into because of high stepping into an old tub. Bathrooms felt old and dirty."

"Habitación limpia, agradable hotel. La habitación no es de las que tenían vista, pero era silenciosa (importante cuando estás cansado por los tours) La puerta del baño tenía el llavín dañado, pero nada serio. Teníamos A/C portátil, lo cual fue útil por la temporada. Artículos de baño de cortesía, y la facilidad de que nos cuidaron nuestro equipaje luego del check out, se agradece."

"Great service from the team including a porter meeting us at station to pick up bags and giving us a nice mini tour of town! Hotel is located at a great location center of town with 5mins access to train station and bus to Machu Picchu Room was amazing and well laid out ! We had a good night sleep ! Dinner and Breakfast were both a let down food was average and was not meeting expectations from the reviews we read."

"What a great group of friendly staff! From arriving at the train station to be met by Ruben who took care of the luggage, got us into the bus and by the time we were up at the hotel our bags were ready for us. Upon arrival we were greeted by Anthony "our shaman". Took care of every detail and gave us a lot of historical information. Have to say everyone from the front desk to the restaurant and bar were excellent and made our (short) stay worth it. Thanks to all!"

"I gave this stay excellent ratings across the board because, while it wasn’t a luxury hotel experience, they did an amazing job with what they have in such a remote location. The domes were clean, warm, and ready for us on time. The staff was very attentive and seemed to be constantly working to make sure everyone had hot water, clean facilities, warm bedding, and good food. They also offered inexpensive home-cooked meals, plus fun little extras like snacks and hot cocoa for our family. The location is what really makes it special. We had breathtaking views of Humantay and Salkantay Mountains right from our domes, and there was very little light pollution, so the night sky was beautiful. This is a small business with limited staff, and we really appreciated how hard they worked to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience in Soraypampa."
