"A hotel with drunk Thai people. Thais from Bangkok on a bender drinking from 11am to midnight, singing loudly, playing loud music and in general having a ball. I lasted 3 nights at this hotel before I left. The grumpy reception lady wanted a deposit before even lifiting a finger to check me in, and did not speak much english. Breakfast was included in the price, but nobody told me where to get it. Finally they offered breakfast in-room, but the offering consisted of Thai porridge - inedible...

"EXCELLENT deal, great location, nice hot pot, fridge and AC. Comfortable and clean with helpful courteous staff. The free breakfast was a surprise bonus - that we couldn't take advantage of because of early tours and train schedule. My only complaint would be the loud music from the bars down the street - but even that was muffled enough for me to get a decent night's sleep."

"Room was large, bed very comfortable. Nice private balcony. First hotel in 2 weeks that we were able to have ultra hot shower. Breakfast was a fabulous with heaps of dishes to choose from, pick from poached, fried or fresh made omelette. Location fabulous being right across the road from the beach. All staff were wonderful"

"The beach is only accessible at low tide otherwise you have to take a taxi to get to a decent beach, this is misleading on the adverts as it states “on the beach”. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful instagrammable setting. Not a western 5 star standard at all. Nice stay, but disappointing for me as I wanted to walk on the beach. "
