"This place blew me away! It was just what we needed at the end of an action packed vacation. The property was beautiful, and the views were unbelievable. The chalet was pristine. "As there aren’t many hotel options in the area, and most others are quite expensive, this place is a great find. Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, it offers beautiful sunset views, and if you’re staying in Room 3, you'll have a great view of Le Morne. It’s within walking distance of a grocery store and Kind Coffee shop, which my Le Morne guide said was the best coffee he had in Mauritius. "Great, nice staff, this is the only strength of this hotel. Dining options are very poor and the prices not worth for the food quality - high prices for a mediocre food. The breakfast quality is mediocre. There are a lot of maintenance issues inside the room: i got several electrical problems (much of recharge sockets are out order) and this well documented by travellers, the rooms are pretty old and not well maintained. Buttom line: this is not 5 stars hotel, other 4 stars hotels much better...

"Just back from a very relaxing stay at the Sand Suites. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful from the most junior to the most senior. The food was very good. Our room was spacious and we had a beautiful view overlooking the pool area. We hope to return some time in the future and would definitely recommend it."

"The larger 4-bed villa that I booked was lovely; we also saw the inside of a smaller 3-bed unit, and it looks like the 3-bed ones have had a bit of a refurb that hasn’t reached the 4-bed villa yet, but it was honestly lovely. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially our cleaner Marie, who was an absolute star. Would thoroughly recommend."
