"There were good points and not so good points to the hotel. Firstly the location is excellent, in terms of being very close to the harbour. However, you have to walk to another Elia hotel to collect your keys though, which is about a 5 minute walk away. You can't get a taxi to either hotel, so get the taxi to drop you close to Elia Estia (closest point; corner of Katre and Kanevaro streets), leave your bags and travel partner at Elia Estia whilst the other person goes to collects the key! Right on the beach with a fantastic small pool.Easy going & laid back atmosphere.Right in the heart of Katos Stalos with everything right outside and along the beach. "Very beautiful hotel right at the heart of Crete old town. The hotel is at the centre of a shopping street and wonderful restaurants, the back side is the beautiful Old Harbor's breakwater and lighthouse. The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended and would still choose to stay here on my next visit to Chania."

"Lovely place to stay in Chania. Our apartment did have a kitchen with cooking equipment however there were no hobs, oven, or microwave so I'm not sure why the equipment was there. It would have been useful to have these facilities. However, the staff were very friendly and the apartment itself was really nice. The beds were comfy and the place was spacious. I'd stay there again. "

"We loved our stay here! The owner was extremely helpful when we couldn’t get access to the property at midnight and walked us through the steps. She also gave us a map and lots of help with parking! The location is great for walking around the old town, but parking was a bit difficult. The room was just as described, beautifully appointed, and the fridge had complimentary juice, water, fruit, and wine! An excellent stay."
