"AVOID. Difficult to know where to start. This apartment was mis-sold, as it is student accommodation (10 bedrooms per flat). Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. Apartment is located by a crossroads therefore could be loud when busy as well as people walking past the windows but knew that when we booked it would be Apartment was spacious so fine for us, a family of 5. "This is a beautiful property in a good area. Highly recommend. 15 minutes walk to town centre, harbour in front of building with lovely walk. Bedrooms are spacious, as well as all other areas of this large two floor flat. Would definitely return again."

"Old-world warmth of welcome to children and adults. Main reception room is a beautiful large high windowed, graceful, room resplendent with its numerous couches, library, sea views and perfect for rainy days. The pork belly and fresh vegetables were delicious. A realistically priced, child-welcoming, truly charming hotel with generous pool towels, for the much enjoyed indoor and outdoor pool. The location is great for quick walks, short taxi and train rides to an abundance of child-appropriate fun. The staff are delightful. Grandeur and hospitality without the price-tag, breakfast and bedroom more than adequate, we look forward to our next visit very much. If you need power-showers, and ten-star waitress-service breakfasts, air conditioning, ... this hotel is not for you, but how lucky we are to have this wonderful hotel exactly as it is. "

"Room was ready early and was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help us including finding a bowl for us to use as an ice bucket! Towels were huge and luxurious. Perfect night away with enough space and comfort to relax. Brilliant location walking distance from the hoe and theatre. "

"We stayed in a premium sea view room which had plenty of room for 2 adults, 1 child (who was very pleased to have a whole sofa bed to herself!) and a baby. Baby cot was set up as requested on our arrival. Hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool was really nice and good temperature. We enjoyed a few free bits and pieces from the lounge bar - including milk for baby bottle (very handy). Location was perfect - right next to the hoe, with a Tesco express shop just round the corner. The only tiny thing was that the travel cot was very firm/hard - we added a towel underneath the sheet (baby 18 months) and she slept fine. Overall a great experience and we would definitely return!"
