"We arrived after a long day on the road. The location featured a beautiful view of the water. Check in was easy and the staff attentive and helpful. I don't know if the owner/chef speaks english, as I spoke french first and perhaps he mistook my Gr. 13 skills for real ability.
The room was well appointed. There's a fireplace, though we didn't use it since it was July, and a comfy bed. After a rest we went down to the dining room which provided a great seat on the back deck with a good view of the water and rolling landscape. The food was excellent and the young lady who was our server was very helpful and attentive; she spoke perfect English which helped a lot.
After dinner we walked the property; there's a nice seating area with muskoka chairs and benches overlooking the water. Very quiet and calming. Just what the doctor ordered. We are definitely going back as the region is full of points of interest we want to take in."
