"I have stayed at the English Inn for years but since the remodel it is fabulous! The rooms are clean, the shower pressure and water temperature are great. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The pool is heated and a big part of our stay. The upgrades are appreciated but so glad the original feel of the hotel is still there. "

"This was a very clean and comfortable room, which is close to restaurants and fine shops and located very close to UVA medical facilities. They do accommodate pets for an additional charge. I brought my dog and felt very safe walking him late at night and the wee hours of morning. My husband took advantage of the free breakfast, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
