Stayed here for a night on our Australia road trip, we were upgraded to a beautiful room with balcony overlooking the lake.
The room was huge, with a shower and a jet bath which was amazing.
The view was lovely, yes the room could do with some updating and tlc but for the price I can’t complain.
The check in instructions on hotels.com are incorrect, there is a reception area and you don’t check in at the pub/restaurant but other than that great stay

All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was fairly compact but was spotlessly clean. You really do not want for anything. We would happily stay again and would not bother looking elsewhere

Perfect location for a chilled few days. Well equipped accommodation and great for kids. Travelling with family, 2 boys, aged 8 and 13. Everyone really enjoyed our stay.

Bunk beds very small. Not really suitable for adults.
Site was quaint and had good atmosphere. Close to sea. Harrington itself is a sleepy small town with few facilities. Most of the restaurants are closed on Mondays. On site BBQ facility very good and large Ritchies supermarket a short drive away open every day till late except 25 Dec. Cooking facilities in cabin very good with large fridge freeze, microwave and full oven. Main room very spacious.
Overall very peasant stay.

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Chatham, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What can I see and do in Chatham?
While exploring the area, visit family-friendly sights like The Big Buzz Fun Park, or get outside and enjoy nature at Old Bar Beach. Manning Entertainment Centre and Taree Central are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What are holiday rentals like in Chatham?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Chatham. Holiday rentals offer extras like kitchens and laundry facilities so you'll be comfy for your stay. If you're concerned about a clean environment, holiday rentals can provide a sense of safety away from shared hotel lifts and bustling concierge desks while still allowing you a great travel experience. You'll also get more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which makes a holiday rental a great option for small groups.
