If you're not prepared, airports and flying can be challenging. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these useful tips for a pleasant start to your time in Arboga. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a cruisy experience if you've got all the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want some basic toiletry items, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare change of clothes and a good novel. Next, leave space in your carry-on bag for your mobile phone, a charger, your medications and perhaps a comfy neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, remember to take your passport, travel documents and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have a sharp object hiding in one of the compartments of your carry-on luggage. Other prohibited items include explosive or flammable goods, such as bleach and fuel, and liquids and gels in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane aren't the place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and go for shoes that are closed-toe, flat and easy to pull on and off.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of sitting. To reduce your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression tights or socks and move your legs and feet often.
