We've got the lowdown on how to make your journey a stress-free experience. Follow our top tips and you'll be breezing through airport security and discovering Bukovel in next to no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a great experience if you pack the right gear. Firstly, you'll want some toiletry items, such as deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a clean set of clothes and a magazine or two. Secondly, find a spot in your hand luggage for your phone and charger, any medications and perhaps a cosy neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to bring your passport, travel docs and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- While the list of restricted items differs between airlines, the general rule to follow is nothing sharp, flammable or explosive. This includes box cutters, razor blades, fuel and fireworks. Sports equipment like bows and arrows, and items that could harm other people, such as guns and swords, won't be allowed on board either.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft aren't the place for a fashion parade. Dress in comfortable layers and go for shoes that are flat, roomy and easy to slip on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to wander around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
