Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Crochu could be a breeze or it could go on forever. We've compiled some handy tips that will help you start your unforgettable escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a great experience if you take the right things. First of all you'll need basic toiletries, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a fresh set of clothes and a magazine or two. Secondly, leave space in your carry-on bag for your electronic gadgets, chargers, any daily medications and maybe a cosy neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to take your passport, travel papers and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and gasoline, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- You'll want to choose comfort over style. Prepare for temperature changes in the cabin by layering up, and wear flat, easy-to-remove footwear like sneakers.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to poor circulation, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression tights or socks.
