Depending on where you're coming from, your flight to Fazana could be a piece of cake or it could go on forever. We've rounded up some useful travel tips that will help you start your unforgettable escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a stress-free experience if you carry the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletries, such as deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a spare pair of socks and a magazine or two. Secondly, find room in your hand luggage for your phone, tablet and chargers, any medications and maybe a neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to take your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and fireworks, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Choose comfort over style. Prepare for changes in cabin temperature by wearing layers, and pick flat, closed-toe footwear like sneakers.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Walk around the cabin and give your legs a stretch or do some simple exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
