Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be an enjoyable experience if you're prepared. We've made a list of handy tips and tricks that will help get your Gornji Zovik escape started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a great experience if you pack the right things. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a spare set of clothes and a good novel. Secondly, make room in your hand luggage for your electronic gadgets, chargers, medications and perhaps a cosy neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to bring your passport, travel documents and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have a Swiss Army knife hiding in one of the zippers of your hand luggage. Other banned items include explosive or flammable products, such as bleach and fuel, and liquids and gels in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim here is to feel as comfortable as you can. Choose shoes that are easy to pull on and off, dress in loose, natural-fibre clothing and remember to take a jacket in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- The result of sustained periods of immobility, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect some passengers during long-distance flights. Reduce the risks by staying hydrated, keeping your feet and legs moving and wearing compression socks or tights.
