Depending on where you're coming from, your flight to Hemei could be no sweat at all or it could go on forever. We've put together some tips that will help you start your next great adventure on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First, pack your passport, travel docs, credit cards and daily medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy book and a laptop crammed with your favourite movies are some wonderful options. If you plan to catch more than just forty winks, a quality neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also be useful. Finally, squeeze in a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll step off the plane feeling fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as spray paint, flares and fireworks, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should always be your highest priority when choosing what to wear during your flight. Consider your footwear choice with care too, as swollen feet and ankles are quite common. Slightly roomy, flat shoes are always a sensible way to go.
- Unfortunately, a risk of flying long-haul is developing DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged inactivity. To avoid this, take every opportunity to walk around and give your legs a stretch. Compression tights and socks are another easy way to help reduce this risk.
