Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Inta could be no sweat at all or it could go on forever. We've put together some useful tips that will help you start your next great escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be a comfortable experience if you pack the right stuff. First things first, you'll need basic toiletries, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a fresh change of clothes and a few magazines. Secondly, find room in your carry-on bag for your phone and charger, your important medications and maybe a neck pillow as well. Lastly, remember to bring your passport, travel papers and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Make sure you don't have sharp objects (like a pocket knife) lurking in one of the zippers of your carry-on luggage. Other banned items include flammable or explosive substances, such as aerosol cans and bleach, and gels and liquids in containers with a capacity of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim here is to feel as comfortable as possible. Opt for flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, breathable clothing and don't forget to take a jacket in case you get cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clotting due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks or tights.
