We've rounded up all the info you need to make your journey as enjoyable as possible. Follow our tips and you'll be breezing through the airport and exploring Kami before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- The secret to having a stress-free flight experience is to pack ahead. So, let's start with the basics: passport, travel documents, bank cards and medications. Next, take on board items that'll help pass the time, like some electronic gadgets or a good book. You'll also want to pack your chargers, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of noise-cancelling headphones. Last but not least, don't forget to pop in toiletry items like a toothbrush, cleansing wipes and a spare change of clothes.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by authorities. Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, bleaching agents and fuels, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane are no place for a fashion parade. Dress in comfortable layers and go for shoes that are roomy, flat and easy to pull on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some simple exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
