If you're not prepared, air travel can be challenging. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these useful tips for a worry-free start to your time in Koga. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be easy if you've got all the right gear. First of all you'll need toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare change of clothes and something to read. Secondly, find a spot in your hand luggage for your phone, tablet and chargers, any medications and perhaps a proper neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Sharp or pointed objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosols and matches, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your number one priority when deciding what to wear on your flight. Loose clothing is a wise choice, as are flat, slip-on shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-distance flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to poor circulation, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression tights or socks.
