We've rounded up all the info you need to make your flight an enjoyable experience. Follow our tips and tricks and you'll be zooming through the airport and having a ball in Kut Chap in no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be a great experience if you take the right things. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletries, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a clean set of clothes and a good read. Next, leave space in your bag for your mobile phone, a charger, any vital medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow too. Lastly, be sure to bring your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your beloved Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and fireworks, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your number one priority when deciding what to wear on board. Loose clothing is a smart option, as are enclosed shoes like sneakers.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a potential risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clotting due to poor circulation, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks or tights.
