We’ve pulled together all the info you need to make your flight as enjoyable as possible. Follow our tips and you’ll be breezing through the airport and having a ball in Malmö before you know it.What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First of all, pack in your passport, travel documents, credit cards and medications. Next, you’ll want some in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy book and a tablet crammed with your favourite movies are good options. If you hope to take a short snooze, a comfy neck pillow and some noise-cancelling headphones will also be useful. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some facial wipes so you’ll step off the plane looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Make sure you don’t have a sharp object lurking in the bottom of your hand luggage. Other restricted items include flammable or explosive goods, such as aerosol cans and bleach, and gels and liquids in containers with a capacity of more than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- The main aim is to be as comfortable as possible. Dress in loose, natural-fibre clothing and don’t forget to pack a cardigan in case you get cold. Always go with flat, slightly roomy shoes as your feet may swell a little during the flight. Leave the stilettos and hiking boots in your luggage.
- Unfortunately, one risk of long flights is developing DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clot condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity. To avoid this, take every opportunity to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs. Compression socks and tights are another great idea to help minimize this risk.
