We've pulled together all the info you need to make your flight as stress-free as possible. Follow our tips and you'll be speeding through the airport and enjoying Medhufushi in no time at all. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a pleasure if you carry the right gear. First of all you'll need basic toiletries, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a fresh set of clothes and a good read. Next, make room in your hand luggage for your mobile phone, a charger, any daily medications and maybe a comfy neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to take your passport, travel papers and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosols and matches, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- The narrow aisles of an airplane are not the best place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and take a cardigan as it can get quite cool in the cabin. Flat, slightly roomy shoes are also a good choice.
- Most travellers have heard about DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clotting condition caused by reduced mobility or inactivity. There are plenty of ways to minimize your risk. Wear a good-quality pair of compression tights or socks, stay hydrated and remember to keep your legs and feet moving. Walk around the cabin when possible or perform exercises in your seat.
