No matter where you're coming from, flying can be a pleasurable experience if you've prepared well. We've made a list of handy tips that will get your Munising escape started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First and foremost, pack your passport, travel docs, bank cards and daily medications. Next, you'll want some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling book and a laptop crammed with your favourite movies are some terrific options. If you plan to catch up on some sleep, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also be useful. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some deodorant to ensure you arrive at your destination looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by authorities. Pointed or sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, bleaching agents and fuels, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- You'll want to go for comfort over style. Prepare for temperature changes in the cabin by wearing layers, and wear flat, slightly roomy shoes like sneakers.
- The result of prolonged periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect passengers during long-haul flights. Lower your risks by staying hydrated, keeping your legs moving and wearing compression tights or socks.
