Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Pucon could be as easy as pie or it could go on forever. Below are some handy travel tips that will help you start your next great adventure on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- The trick to having an awesome travel experience is to plan ahead. So, let's start with the basics: passport, travel documents, cash and important medications. Next, bring on board items that'll help keep you busy, like some electronic devices or a juicy novel. It's also wise to pack your chargers, a neck pillow and a pair of noise-cancelling headphones. Finally, be sure to chuck in toiletries like a toothbrush, lip balm and a spare set of clothes.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have sharp objects (like a knife or scissors) lurking in your carry-on luggage. Other banned items include flammable or explosive substances, such as aerosol cans and fuel, and liquids and gels in containers with a capacity of more than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- The long, narrow aisles of an aircraft are not the place for a fashion parade. Wear comfortable clothes and don't forget to bring a cardigan as the temperature can drop in the cabin during long-haul flights. Closed-toed, flat shoes are also recommended.
- Unfortunately, one risk of flying long distances is developing DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To prevent this, take every opportunity to walk around and give your legs a stretch. Compression socks and tights are also a great idea to help minimize this risk.
