We've pulled together all the info you need to make your journey as enjoyable as possible. Follow our top tips and you'll be speeding through the airport and enjoying Tsalka before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First things first, pack in your passport, important documents, cash and vital medications. Next, you'll want some extra in-flight entertainment to help pass the time. A thrilling book and a phone crammed with your favourite shows are good options. If you intend to take a quick nap, a quality neck pillow and a pair of noise-cancelling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes to ensure you hop off the plane feeling fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated. Pointed or sharp objects, like your treasured Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, bleaching agents and fireworks, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your highest priority when deciding what to wear on your flight. Loose clothing is a sensible choice, as are flat, enclosed shoes.
- The result of sustained periods of immobility, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect passengers during long-distance flights. Lower your risks by staying hydrated, keeping your ankles and legs moving and wearing compression socks to help your circulation.
