If you're poorly prepared, travelling can be daunting. But don't hit the panic button just yet. Follow these useful tips and enjoy a comfortable start to your time in Woja. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's easy — first, put in your passport, travel docs, bank cards and daily medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to while away the time. A juicy book and a laptop crammed with your favourite movies are always good options. If you plan to catch a few z's, a neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also be useful. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll touchdown looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp or pointed objects, like your beloved pocket knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and strong acids, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main aim is to be as comfortable as possible. Go for flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, natural-fibre clothing and don't forget to bring a jacket in case you get cold in the cabin.
- It's likely you've heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To lower your risk on board, stay hydrated, consider wearing compression tights or socks and do gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat.
