We've rounded up all the info you need to make your journey as enjoyable as possible. Follow our tips and tricks and you'll be zooming through the airport and having a blast in Zaragoza in no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be easy if you've got all the right stuff. First of all you'll need toiletry items, such as lip balm and hand cream, a spare pair of socks and something to read. Secondly, make room in your carry-on bag for your electronic devices, chargers, any medications and perhaps a neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, remember to take your passport, travel papers and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Sharp or pointed objects, like your treasured pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, flares and matches, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- You'll want to go for comfort over style. Prepare for changes in cabin temperature by layering up, and wear slightly roomy, flat footwear like slip-ons.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Wander around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
