If you're not prepared, airports and flying can be challenging. But there's no need to panic. Follow these useful tips and enjoy a pleasant start to your time in Zitácuaro. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be a cruisy experience if you bring the right things. First things first, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as lip balm and hand cream, a spare set of clothes and a good novel. Next, leave space in your bag for your laptop, a charger, your medications and maybe a quality neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, don't forget to take your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Sharp or pointed objects, like a pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and fuels, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Go for comfort over style. Prepare for changes in cabin temperature by donning layers, and pick flat, slightly roomy footwear like sneakers.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by extended periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to wander around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
