"Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. They put us on the 5th floor. Elevator went to 3 rd floor. Had to go up a ramp to 4th floor then climb steps to get to 5th floor. Hard to do with a torn meniscus in my knee and haul luggage up. Kids enjoyed Waterpark. Glad my daughter was with me or kids would not of got to use Waterpark. Was just too much for me to walk and climb 4 floors of stairs to get there. ."

"We travel to the northern lower peninsula and UP at least once a year. This is the best place we have found to stay by far for the price. The front desk staff were very helpful and so nice. (We did find the gentleman who ran the breakfast and did some things outside to be kind of gruff.) The rooms were very clean and updated. We loved the smores on Lake Huron overlooking the bridge. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely be back!"

"We really enjoyed our 2-night getaway. The free upgrade upon arrival was such a generous touch! The cabin is definitely older with a bit of a quirky layout, but it was very clean and well-maintained. Since we were out exploring the beautiful surrounding area all day anyway, it was the perfect clean, quiet spot to crash at night."

"We enjoy staying here as it was where my husbands mom would bring him and his brothers. However this time - end of season - we had to check in at the hotel next door, the staircase had spiders and webs all over, our room was cozy but we had spiders and webs in the window and in the bathroom. And the soap dispenser in the shower was out. We will stay here again, because we enjoy the - not right downtown area - and the trails are close by."
