Clean hotel. However, it would be better if they offer valet parking. Also, checking in was difficult as there was a very loud event happening in the adjacent cafe.

The room had tv with set-top box, but most of the channels weren't even activated. I couldn't watch anything. The taps in the bathroom had water marks on them, meaning that they weren't cleaned properly. The staff were very nice though.

Nice place to stay. The Copper water pot at the entrance was a novelty to me. Nobody uses it anymore.

Pretty good for the location
Booked this place for my In-laws many of them visiting Chennai for the 1st time. A good place to stay as its close enough to Chennai Airport and Besant Nagar/Adyar but also halfway towards Mahabalipuram which they wanted to visit for a long time. Hotel is in quite good condition and service was good though nothing to write home about. Surroundings are not to bad, but SIPCOT is an industrial/SEZ type of location so it is what it is.

Staff at the reception are very friendly and proactive in offering help, including pre-travel arrangements (i.e. booking shuttle pic up service). Nice and new hotels with precisely what you need for staying, nice lobby and breakfast buffet.

Well-located, pleasant hotel with friendly staff.
Cyclone Vardha had done some damage. However, soon [not soon enough re WiFi, TV] the hotel recovered. Unfortunately the hot water in my room was cold and did not work even after "repairs". Eventually, I was moved to a different room which was satisfactory except for a much poorer view, but everything else was fine, including hot water. The a la carte menu and the breakfasts were excellent with healthy choices. The music played there was sometimes intrusive and over-loud. The buffet was very expensive and I could not see any justification for this. Prices should always be quoted inclusive of taxes-tips should be at the discretion of customer and not charged a priori.The staff were uniformly helpful and polite, especially in the restaurant. Strangely, when someone phoned me from the city and gave my name in FULL, spelling it out, the person was told "no such person was at the hotel!" This did not fill me with confidence about the training of the reception staff. The Gym and the laundry service were very good. In all, I think this hotel is good, but some needlessly rough edges need to be smoothed out.

Receptionists: 1.0 / 5.0 Restaurant & Restaurant staffs: 4.5 / 5.0 Housekeeping: 4.5 / 5.0 Transportation: 4.5 / 5.0 I had reserved two rooms for two nights, no complaints about other services except for the receptionists unprofessional attitude I am dissatisfied because receptionist staffs misused my credit card information and did unauthorized payment using my card after my departure.

Excellent hotel at reasonable price
From the time we landed in Chennai, it rained for complete 48 hours nonstop. So, we have spent maximum time in the hotel room itself. And must admit that it has been a very comfortable stay with some beautiful view from the large glass window. Location of the hotel is slightly far from the main city, but it is very close to Beach and SIPCOT IT Park. Would strongly suggest people travelling on business trip to stay at this hotel. Connectivity to city isn't a problem at all, hotel is right next to OMR road and you have Cars, buses going that way very frequently [just in case someone wants to use other transport facility] Should make a special mention about the Staff [each and everyone], they have been very polite, friendly and helpful. Now comes the food topic, its just excellent. you have many varieties to choose from and everything tasted really good. Dont forget to try Mutton curry because its more like a home made one and is excellent. Am not good at writing a well scripted review, but can easily say that this hotel is very good one for a comfortable stay.
