It is very well equipped, and beds very comfortable with spotless linen. Even in cold weather, the cottage has more than enough radiators and a very efficient log burner to keep you warm. Douglas was very helpful and gave us excellent advice on restaurants and attractions like Melrose Abbey, Abbortford House, and of course, the many walking paths.
