"This is an excellent airport hotel, it is a long way from the city but the hotel provides courtesy buses to the airport where you can catch the train or to Tung Chung station; these are every half an hour, so it is not a problem. They have several restaurants to suit your taste."

But the room we stayed was dated in an unattractive way and wasn't clean like old carpet, cabinets, etc that felt sticky. "The Auberge Hotal is a nice place to stay at and is in a lovely, peaceful location. However, the hotel management doesn't make you feel welcome and are really impolite, unfriendly and apathetic. The junior staff are the opposite and do their best to make you feel welcome, are courteous and empathetic."

"Lovely stay at this hotel. Everything in my room worked as well as I needed (comfortable bed, clean functioning bathroom, and TV). However, the elevator situation was a little iffy. There are 33 floors here, and at times only one of the three elevators was operational. Mostly it was two of three elevators that were operating, but this made for long waits at peak times of the morning (like breakfast and check-out time). Plan to wait a while each morning for the lift, including stopping at almost...
