We arrived to find padlocks on the doors and according to locals photo had not been open for six months . Do not book at this hotel

The hotel is shut for the last 2 years plus

Hotel closed for more than 2 years plus but the bookings can be made online. Reached Khajuraho from gurgaon only to find a deserted hotel had to look for another place after reaching Khajuraho and ended up paying more than double the rates.

Cleanliness, easy accessibility, good tasty Indian food and courteous responsiveness of the staff are the plusses However the lack of variety in the buffet breakfast, tea bags, butter, regular sauces, was a minus. We stayed for 4 days and overall found the stay very good.

Least favourite stay in all of India

Plane was late ... Got in round 4, temples open for two hours and the hotel said they couldn't find my booking - put other people through - and seemed they wanted to turn me away despite holding booking confirmation numbers - so I pulled the 'Can I Speak To Your Manager' card before anything started happening - got the room nearest the lobby - with terrible water seals on the shower doors - less water in bathroom if you left it open - staff were super bureaucratic about one bottle of water and impossibly slow ... Lost good time on my Indian Jones Temple Hunting ---- pool closed - staff clunky and ill prepared to deal with the unexpected ... Great sights -- wish I picked a better hotel.

It was a pleasant experience.it could have been much better if lighting were there in the garden beside pool area at night.

A pleasant enough hotel.....

The hotel was fine and lived up to our expectations and of the reviews that we had read. The room was comfortable and clean. Everything worked, except for the WIFI. The food in the restaurant was quite good, although I would have to question their level of hygine. The head waiter was seen dipping his fingers into the food in the buffet to see if it was hot enough and another was seen cleaning plates with his bare hands.....

Old and New

The best thing was that the staff was very friendly and cooperative. The property feels old, but with some modern amenities. The not so good thing was that the buffet breakfast was kind of boring. And they didn't change it over the three days that we were there. The worst thing was that the selection of TV Channels was deplorable. The stay was otherwise pretty good.

good hotel for the money

probably one of the better hotels for the price in the area but still could use some improvements. Staff is very helpful especially in the restaurant where the food is quite good. Not sure if they don't have all the facilities running at full speed all the time but the lights at the hotel pool where never switched on at night, which would make it more of a resort like feel. The nature trail is somewhat laughable but hey what can do you expect. Our main problem for our three and one half day staff here was during the whole time they were having satellite tv issues. We only had two channels that repeated the same commercials over and over. If the other amenities had been in full swing like the pool at night or the hotel bar ( at least during our stay) then maybe it would feel more like a resort and we wouldn't have needed entertainment from the tv during the night.

ottimo hotel Resort

Ho soggiornato quì per una notte. l'hotel è veramente molto bello con piscina e stanze pulite e confortevoli. L'unica nota dolente è che sono un pò tirchi! La wifi è a pagamento e anche le postazioni pc! La colazione è cara e purtroppo anche mangiare al ristorante non è proprio economico.. In ogni caso lo consiglio per la pulizia dell'hotel e per i servizi che offre

Don't stay here during monsoon

The food served in the hotel's restaurant was tasty. The room was also comfortable. The roof started leaking during heavy rains and despite repeated inspections by the staff nothing was done. I put a dustbin underneath the leakage to stop water from accumulating in my room. My request for a late checkout was refused by the staff claiming that the room was required by another guest but it was evident that due to the off-season not many visitors were staying in the hotel. The hotel even kept the air conditioning switched off in the reception area due to lack of guests.

Fine stay...

It's a pleasant enough hotel but with signs almost everywhere that they could do better. For one most often than not I found the reception unmanned and with so many foreign travellers as guests found so many waiting for their queries to be answered, need to be better staffed but when available they were courteous and obliging. The room for a change was spacious unlike the new crop of hotels but the bathroom could really need some supervision, newly done flooring in the bathroom area, badly finished. Still can be accommodated. But the restaurant needs a talk over . Dry dead leaves were in the flower vases on tables and not bothered to change in more than 2days, u don't need to put a vase at all in such case, better than seeing bad stuff. The door to the restaurant was so smudged with finger prints, napkins left to dry on counter tops, all this keeps it away from being a better hotel. The breakfast spread though not lavish was good and tasted fine. Room service was quick and fare good but slightly pricey. Still the pros are more than the cons and worth the money paid

Sehenswerte Tempel, angenehmes Hotel

Wir haben im Hotel Usha Bundela 2 Tage verbracht und es hat uns gut gefallen. Besonders zu erwähnen sind die überaus freundlichen Mitarbeiter, die uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen ablasen. Der Raum für das Frühstücksbuffet 'Le Café' ist leider etwas düster geraten. Dies macht jedoch der tolle, gut gewartete Swimming Pool wieder wett. Ein angenehmes Hotel, in welches wir jederzeit wieder zurückkehren würden.

C'est la meilleur rencontre dans cette marge de prix dans le Madya Pradesh. Tres recommandable! Propre.

В отеле было все так, как должно быть - чисто, удобно, нормальный завтрак. Был и бассейн, правда мы им не воспользовались. Расположен в 15-20 минутах ходьбы от западной группы храмов и центральной туристической улицы. Кому-то может показаться далековато, а мы с удовольствием прошлись пешком.

Close to airport

A well appointed hotel. Helpful staff. Not far from airport or tourist sites. Pleasant garden and swimming pool.
